Just started watching Heroes. Yes because I just got my TV lately, I have tons of shows like this (24 S06, Lost S03 and Prison Break S02) that waits for me watching.

I only saw the first episode but it's quite funny that Hiro doesn't look like Japanese (which actually he is) and the co-worker's Japanese is so bad and can't understand what he's saying without following the English subtitles. I guess they are Chinese or Korean.

Anyway this show is promising good. Don't post spoilers for me ;)

The actor who plays Hiro also writes out the English translations you see on the TV. There was a good article with him in the chronicle a few months back - he used to do special effects for lucas film here in the bay area.

Yeah I just read that on Wikipedia Japanese entry on him. He used "Yatta!" instead of "Banzai" which is a right choice, but it'd be better to say something like "Yossha" to be more contemporary. Yatta sounds more childish.

I rarely watched Heroes, but it doesn't show up anymore until September, I should go get the DVD.
